At My Life My Way SDS we are committed to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, fulfilling lives—on their own terms. We specialize in providing high-quality, person-centered support through the Self-Determination Program, Independent Facilitator services, and individualized planning and coordination. Our team brings extensive experience in Supported Living Services (SLS), Independent Living Services (ILS), and community-based supports. We take pride in partnering with individuals and families to design customized plans that build independence, enhance quality of life, and open doors to new opportunities.
At the heart of our work is a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. Whether assisting with housing access, employment supports, community integration, social recreation, or life skills development, we are here to support each individual in building a life they truly choose—one rooted in empowerment, inclusion, and purpose.

History – Our Life, Our Way
Our story is rooted in a shared passion for empowering individuals to live meaningful, self-directed lives. Collectively, we bring years of experience across administration, direct support, behavioral health, and social recreation—each chapter of our journey shaping the mission we carry today.
We began by building a foundation in administration, learning how strong systems and thoughtful planning allow care and support services to flourish. This foundation prepared us to move into more personalized services, including Supported Living Services (SLS) and Independent Living Services (ILS), where we saw firsthand the power of promoting independence, dignity, and choice in daily living.
Our team has also grown within residential care, supporting individuals in structured settings that balance safety and compassion while encouraging personal growth. Alongside this, our dedicated Direct Support Professionals and Behavioral Technicians have provided consistent, hands-on care—helping people navigate challenges, build life skills, and achieve their personal goals.
But our work extends beyond day-to-day care. Through social recreation, we’ve witnessed the importance of connection, community, and joy. These moments—whether through group outings, creative activities, or community integration—remind us that support isn’t just about meeting needs, but about creating a life filled with purpose and belonging.
Together, our collective skills and experiences reflect a deep commitment: to walk beside those we serve, advocate for their independence, and celebrate their successes. “Our Life, Our Way” is more than a philosophy—it’s the story we live out every day.
Our Story
My Life My Way SDS LLC was founded on the belief that every individual with a developmental disability deserves the right—and the resources—to live life on their own terms. Inspired by years of hands-on experience in Supported Living Services (SLS) and Independent Living Services (ILS), our founder witnessed both the challenges individuals face and the incredible potential they have when given the right supports.
Seeing a need for services that truly honor choice, foster independence, and promote inclusion, we set out to create an organization built on respect, advocacy, and personalized care. From the very beginning, our work has been rooted in walking alongside each person as a partner in their journey—celebrating successes, navigating challenges, and ensuring that every step forward reflects the individual’s own vision for their life.
